The Friends of the Celery Bog is a concerned community of people who enjoy, respect and desire to protect the Celery Bog Nature Area. As a group, the Friends of Celery Bog seeks to provide the following:
- Representation of the collective voice of an appreciating community
- An authoritative voice for the preservation of the natural resource contiguous to the Celery Bog
- Facilitator of educational opportunities for the Celery Bog and the Greater Community
- Focal point for all efforts on behalf of the Celery Bog and its environs
- Platform for those who are passionate about the Celery Bog to engage action on its behalf
