Looking forward to a newly planted bog
Step forward, Purdue, and demonstrate the “good neighbor” policy. Purdue could replant and replace the trees in the clear-cut area.
Kudos to Joan Mohr Samuels for the informative article on the bog’s loss of habitat (Journal & Courier, March 6).
This surely was done without even consulting the Celery Bog people and others knowledgeable about the importance of a healthy habitat for bog residents. We who travel the bog road often will look forward to the cleanup and spring planting.
